Who is eligible to participate in the EA/PA Mentoring Programme?
This programme is designed for Personal Assistants and Executive Assistants who are looking to enhance their skills, expand their professional network, and gain strategic career insights. Whether you are at the beginning of your career or well-established, our program offers valuable resources tailored to your level of experience.
How long is the mentoring programme and what is the time commitment?
The programme runs for a duration of twelve weeks. Participants are expected to commit to a minimum of two hours per month.
Is there a cost to participate in the programme?
No, the EA/PA Mentoring programme is completely free for all participants. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality development opportunities for Personal and Executive Assistants.
Can I choose my mentor?
While participants do not directly choose their mentor, we strive to match mentors and mentees based on their professional backgrounds, goals, and personal interests to ensure a fruitful mentoring relationship.
The LS mentor programme has been created to be the go-to growth platform for the EA/PA community.
Its structure has been designed to nurture relationships between an experienced individual (mentor) and a less-experienced individual (mentee), focussing on professional and personal development for both parties.
Headed up by Emily Mills, Head of Growth & Initiatives and previous award-winning EA Manager, this programme promises to enhance the capabilities and careers of both mentors and mentees alike.
Working with my mentor, Anne, through the Lily Shippen Mentoring Programme has been an invaluable experience for me. Despite the distance between London and Scotland, our regular online catchups were always something I looked forward to. Anne provided me with invaluable guidance and support as I navigated career and personal challenges. Her insights helped me gain clarity on my personal goals and the steps I needed to take to achieve them. Anne's wealth of knowledge and experience made her an exceptional mentor, and I am incredibly grateful for her guidance throughout this journey. I highly recommend the Lily Shippen programme to anyone seeking professional development and guidance in their career as an EA.
I'm paired with Clare and am so pleased to tell you I've landed my first role as a PA this week! I am sure being able to mention the Lily Shippen EA/PA Mentoring Programme played a part in getting the job because I talked about it at interview, and how it meant I was working with someone more experienced in the role.I know you've worked very hard on the programme with your colleagues, so I thought you'd be glad to hear it is already having tangible results - thanks a million!
